Online Auto research portal Gaadi.com has launched a revamped Videos Page for cars and bikes enthusiasts.
Gaadi.com, which claims to offer news and specifications of cars and bikes of all make, model and sizes has revamped and launched its own Videos Page. The sub–section of the site will now feature more coverage of news feed, new launches, reviews, etc.
What does the revamp feature? Gaadi.com had launched the Video section more than a year back in January 2013. However, the platform felt that the section wasn’t that easy to navigate and videos that appeared on the page could perform better with a streamlined approach. Since Gaddi.com doesn’t specialize and tries to offer news across car brands, the videos page can get pretty cluttered. An official statement from the company clarified that the new layout is “trying to give its subscribers a one-click-solution to whatever car related content they may come looking for.”
The new layout seems to be inspired by YouTube’s current layout and features a scroll on the top that attempts to put forth latest videos. The right section is dedicated to the popular videos, whereas the section below offers videos segregated by nature, road test, news, viral, etc.
Cars or bikes enthusiasts have particular interests like handling, first ride, road tests, latest launches, reviews and associated news coverage. Gaadi.com has tried to offer videos in a neatly categorized layout. Interestingly, all the videos are hosted on YouTube and they are simply linked on the dedicated videos page. Gaadi.com does have an exclusive YouTube Page, but none of the videos appear to have gone viral yet.
Perhaps Gaadi.com is trying to build traffic to its own portal, as evidenced from comments by Bunny Punia, Content Head, Gaadi.com,
“With a dedicated videos page we are trying to provide a comprehensive coverage of automotive news in respect to textual and visual content. We want Gaadi.com to be a one-stop shop for anyone looking for a 360 degree insight into the world of automobiles.”
Automobiles and Motorcycles are certainly two of the most eagerly awaited categories and companies are now realizing that correct management of the content can not only draw in traffic, but enhance engagement with the platform. Has Gaddi.com managed to achieve the same?
